The Story Behind The Old #3
The Old #3 is named after Mine No. 3, one of the most significant coal mines in Washington's history. For decades, the mine helped fuel the nation's railroads and shaped the town of Ronald.
When the mines officially closed in 1963, many miners left behind their hard hats inside the restaurant. Every hat represented another story, another adventure, and another person who became part of The Old #3 family. Their legacy remains an important part of The Old #3's history.
